A 2.15 hour workshop in Stoke Newington that weaves somatic yoga flow with embodied philosophy and sacred sound.
At soma home, Studio 4, 231 Stoke Newington Church St, London N16 9HP
This day long retreat will be an intimate gathering; a day of complete cosiness and nourishment, fireside practices, sauna, cold wild swimming (if you want!), and wild wintery walks all set within the land of Knepp, where nature has been invited to remember itself as generative and wild, given the space required to find its way back to health and vitality after years of suffering under the pressure of large scale agricultural practice.
On this day into the wild, we will move our bodies, attuning to inspiring philosophies that offer us ways into a felt recognition of the blurred lines, the spaces in between, the ongoing continuum of self, other and land to which we belong. We will explore through somatic yoga practices designed to ignite curiosity and wonder, through traditional wood fired sauna, nourishing food, walks in the wild, and welcome the stirring of spring coming forth from deep beneath the soil.
